I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Urban Company regarding the substandard carpet cleaning service I recently availed from URBAN COMPANY. On March 22, 2024, I engaged Urban Company for a carpet cleaning service, believing in the company's reputation for quality and professionalism.

However, I am deeply disappointed to report that the service resulted in significant damage to my carpet due to the improper use of chemicals and there machinery .
As a result of the negligence displayed by Urban Company, my carpet, which holds a value of 45,000 + GST, has incurred irreparable damage. Furthermore, I have sought a quotation from an independent service provider for the repair of the damaged carpet, and the estimated cost for restoration is 10,500.
Despite multiple attempts to seek redressal through URBAN COMPANY customer care channels, I have been met with frustrating delays and unresponsiveness. The customer care executives have continuously failed to provide me with a satisfactory resolution or even a timely acknowledgment of my concerns. They have consistently misled me by stating to wait for 24 to 48 hours, which is in violation of URBAN company's policy regarding the timeline for providing a resolution THAT IS CROSSED.
This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Urban Company's commitment to its clients.

I demand immediate compensation in the amount of 55,500 + Gst, which includes the cost of repairing the damaged carpet and reimbursement for its original value. Additionally, I expect compensation for the time wasted and mental peace disrupted due to this issue.
Furthermore, I urge Urban Company to take prompt and decisive action to rectify the systemic issues within its customer service department to prevent similar grievances in the future. If my concerns are not addressed and adequate compensation is not provided within two business days of the receipt of this letter, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to protect my rights as a consumer.
Please consider this letter as a formal notice of my intent to escalate this matter further if necessary.
